ARAS Campus ("ARAS", "we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of every visitor and customer. 2. Information we collect
We only collect information you provide, or that is generated automatically when you interact with our site or channels.
- Contact and enquiry data — name, email, phone number, and any details you include when you use a form on our website (including the contact form and the newsletter sign-up).
- Order data — billing and shipping address, items ordered, order total, and payment confirmation reference (we never see or store full card numbers).
- WhatsApp Business messages — when you message our WhatsApp Business number (+974 7244 9090), your phone number, WhatsApp display name, and the content of your messages are received and stored so we can respond and keep a record of the enquiry.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and session cookies. This helps us keep the site secure and improve performance.
- Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in to newsletters or promotional messages.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiries, quote bespoke orders, and provide customer service (including replies on WhatsApp Business).
- To process, package, and deliver orders you place with us.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and service messages.
- To send marketing communications when you have opted in — you may unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every marketing email.

4. Legal basis for processing
We process personal information on the following bases: performance of a contract with you (for orders and enquiries), your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (site security, service improvement), and compliance with legal obligations (tax and record-keeping under Qatari law).
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties who help us operate our business, and only for the purposes above:
- Shopify Inc. — our e-commerce platform provider, which processes orders and hosts our site.
- Payment processors — card and wallet processors that handle checkout on our behalf. They receive payment details directly; we do not.
- Shipping and logistics partners — couriers required to deliver your order.
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — when you message our WhatsApp Business account, your data is processed by WhatsApp under their own Business Policy and Privacy Policy.
- Email service providers — used to send transactional and marketing email.
- Legal authorities — where disclosure is required by law or to protect our rights.
6. WhatsApp Business communications
We use WhatsApp Business to answer enquiries and support bespoke orders. When you message us on WhatsApp:
- Your phone number, WhatsApp profile name, and the messages you send are received by our team and may be stored to maintain a record of the conversation.
- We use those messages only to respond to your enquiry, complete a purchase you have requested, or provide after-sale support.
- We do not send unsolicited marketing on WhatsApp. Marketing messages, when sent, only follow your explicit opt-in.
- You can ask us at any time to delete your WhatsApp conversation from our records by writing to info@arascampus.com.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by Qatari law. Order records are retained for a minimum of five years for tax and warranty purposes. Marketing subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact-form enquiries are retained for two years, then deleted.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your personal information, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
- Object to processing or request that we restrict how we use your data.

9. Cookies
